Responsibilities:

Guides and supports application owners to accelerate and facilitate their migration to the cloud.
Provides advice to developers on best practices to adopt in the cloud.
Analyzes the architectural plans of future cloud-ready applications to identify opportunities for improvement, correct technical errors, or ensure compliance with policies and standards.
Developed a Power BI that sync to Azure automatically and report the costs of each applications and projects in the Azure environment to identify opportunities for reduction and raise awareness among application owners.
Development of ‘Policy as Code’ using Azure Policy and Bicep in the Azure environment to automate and standardize certain configurations when deploying a new application.

Responsibilities:

Contributed to the design and implementation of a centralized Kubernetes environment for Transport Canada developers.
Set up a new AWS environment adhering to the Treasury Board’s “guardrails” through the use of the “Landing Zone Accelerator.”
Designed and developed reusable models using Bicep and Terraform to encourage application owners to implement cloud best practices.
Automated the deployment and configuration of the central Application Gateway to increase the speed of organization migrations.
Automated the renewal of external and internal SSL certificates using Let’s Encrypt to reduce workload on our team.
Automated the shutdown and startup of all non-essential virtual machines outside of working hours to save on usage costs.
Contributed to the configuration and implementation of SCED in TC’s Azure environment.
